Qingdao Science and Technology Huimin Demonstration and Guidance Special Project ' Development and Demonstration Promotion of Green Prevention and Control Biopesticide Technology for Main Pests and Diseases of Peanuts ' was held.

       Peanut is an important oil crop in China and the third largest crop in Qingdao. In view of the increasingly serious situation of peanut diseases and insect pests, in 2020, Hailer, together with the Provincial Peanut Institute, the Municipal Agricultural Technology Extension Center and Qingdao Agricultural University, jointly undertook the demonstration and guidance project of Qingdao Science and Technology Huimin Plan ' Development and Demonstration of Green Prevention and Control Biopesticide Technology for Main Pests and Diseases of Peanuts '.


      In the past two years, under the careful arrangement and guidance of Professor Xian Hongquan, the chief expert of the project, the Agricultural Technology Extension Center has completed the investigation of the ecological law of underground pests such as grubs in peanut fields. Provincial Institute of Peanuts and Professor Zhang Baohua of Agricultural University completed the research work of patent strain biocontrol granule preparation and supporting application technology. Professor Xianhongquan developed Bacillus JK011 to control root diseases, and Professor Li Changyou developed a Bt biocontrol bacterium for peanut grubs. Hailer completed two batches of fermentation in March 2022 and April 2023, and processed into granules to carry out field efficacy trials in many places.


       In order to display the achievements of science and technology benefiting the people, test the key technologies of prevention and control, and accelerate the establishment of a green prevention and control system for pests and diseases, on September 2,2023, the group organized relevant experts in Lianjia Village, Tianzhuang Town, Pingdu City, to conduct a field investigation on the demonstration and application effect of ' green prevention and control technology of main peanut pests and diseases ' based on the biological pesticide developed by the ' 21-1-4-ny-5-nsh ' project team. The expert group investigated the growth of peanut field in the demonstration area, consulted the field management and so on, and carried out field investigation on the spot. The expert group believes that the green prevention and control biotechnology of peanut main pests and diseases developed by the project team has significant effects on disease prevention and pest control. The method is simple and easy to use, which is conducive to reducing the use of chemical pesticides and protecting the ecological environment of farmland. It has broad application prospects. It is recommended to speed up the promotion and application of this technology.

      In the next step, Hailer will take the opportunity of undertaking the city 's science and technology Huimin plan, take the combination of production, study and research as a means, break through the key technologies of green prevention and control of pests and diseases, including peanuts, and establish a green prevention and control system for pests and diseases, so as to reduce environmental pollution, ensure food safety, reduce agricultural product residues, promote agricultural product exports, drive farmers to get rich and make due contributions to rural revitalization.
