Recently, Chengyang District Political and Legal Committee, Chengyang District Good Samaritan Association issued a notice, decided : awarded Sun Haiyan and other six comrades ' Chengyang District Good Samaritan activists ' honorary title, and each reward 5000 yuan. The commendation decision was made in accordance with the ' Regulations of Shandong Province on the Protection and Reward of Good Samaritans ' and other regulations to commend the advanced and promote integrity.

       In March 2022, Sun Haiyan, the registration commissioner of the group 's domestic registration department, received a call from the Red Cross Society of Chengyang District. When she learned that she had successfully matched with a patient and asked her if she would like to donate hematopoietic stem cells, she did not hesitate to agree. On July 5,2022, Sun Haiyan completed hematopoietic stem cell donation in Qingdao Central Hospital, saving the life of a strange child with leukemia.  

      Hematopoietic stem cell donation is a humanitarian act to save lives and benefit the society. It is a vivid manifestation of the improvement of social civilization and morality. Sun Haiyan 's donation action, the group gave strong support throughout the process, and repeatedly called on all Hailir people to learn from this model who was willing to give and not afraid of hardship. Sun Haiyan 's heroic deeds show the core values of Hailir 's " gratitude return, " which encourages Hailir people to move forward along the straight and positive road.
